With Holy Week winding down toward Good Friday, many contemplate loss and grief. For mothers, loss of a child through stillbirth or miscarriage can hit even harder because the reaction of others to the grief can add to the grieving process. Just like there is hope in the promise of Christ for Easter, there is hope and healing through sharing the journey and using your voice as Chandria Taylor has embraced.
Chandria Taylor is a kindergarten teacher in St. Louis, MO. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Human Services. She is the founder and CEO of Like A Rose Inc. She is the mother of four girls; Rylen, Jacelyn, Adelyn and Eden. But she is also a dancer, a pianist and a writer.
She has published one chapter book and two childrens books. Her daughter Adelyn Rose was born sleeping on November 1, 2018. Chandria is now focused in raising awareness on Stillbirth and Infant Loss along with the mental health that comes along with it. She now speaks for the grieving mother who feels like she has no voice.
