Multi’s. Pokies. Lotto. Ponies. Dogs. Round tables…You name it, if it has anything to do with gambling, Australia has it in abundance.
In 2022, More then 70% of Aussie adults had gambled at least once in the last 12 months and over 35% place a bet EVERY WEEK…in total, Aussie adults spent $198 BILLION in the financial year 2022-23…
With the cultural trends as such, and the “grey area” in scripture regarding gambling (that is, there being no direct mention of a word translated to “gamble”) how can we Christians maintain and practice a biblical worldview of money and finances?
