We all know of the immense virtues and rewards associated with memorising the Book of Allah (swt), however for most of us, the thought of embarking on a long, difficult and highly demanding journey seems almost impossible considering our daily hustle and bustle.
Or at least that’s what we think!
There’s a common misconception that unless you begin memorising at a young age – during your ‘prime years’ – your chances of memorising the Quran are very slim. Similarly, many of us think that unless we dedicate hours upon hours and complete multiple pages of Hifdh per week, there’s no point in trying to become a Hafidh. As we’ll learn in this episode, this couldn’t be further from the truth!
We’re joined in this episode by Shaykh Suleiman Hani who is the author of the renowned book ‘114 Tips to Help You Finally Memorize the Quran’ – a book which has been years in the making and has been praised by the likes of Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan, Imam Omar Suleiman, Dr. Yasir Qadhi and many others.
Shaykh Suleiman provides some highly practical tips on how to begin your journey of Quran memorisation, as well as some much needed motivational and inspiring stories that will, InshaAllah, leave you with no excuses to begin!

“Many Muslims have the earnest desire to memorize as much of the Quran as possible but don’t even know where to begin. It’s refreshing to see Imam Suleiman’s effort in this book to facilitate that journey. So many of us know the value of bringing the Quran into our lives and works like these give us realistic ways of making that happen. A must-have for every Muslim household.” – Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan
“This well-researched book will surely become a standard reference in its field for years to come.” – Dr. Yasir Qadhi
