On today's episode we are having a conversation with Emily's oldest bestie, Dr. Chloe Wright, a Psychologist Candidate who has been passionate about mental health and wellness in marginalized communities for most of her life.
We discuss the barriers on the road to quality mental health resources for communities of color, and all of the different intersectionalities within those communities. From lack of providers that reflect the community, to the fact the the theories that are taught to providers in school come from cis white men, quality therapy can feel unattainable to many people.
