Jesus didn’t just preach from pulpits or perform miracles in crowds—He shared meals at tables. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is constantly going to, coming from, or sitting down at a table. And those tables weren’t just about food—they were about connection, transformation, and discipleship.

In this first message of our summer series, Tables, Adam Woods walks us through Jesus’ meal at Levi’s house—a powerful moment of intimacy with tax collectors and sinners. This is more than a story about a meal—it’s a picture of how Jesus meets us in the mess, welcomes us as we are, and invites us into relationship.

We also kick off The 1,000 Tables Challenge—an invitation to intentionally gather with others around a table, with Jesus at the center. Whether it’s a coffee meet-up, dinner with friends, or a neighborhood BBQ, every table can be sacred when Jesus is present.
