ZooTampa at Lowry Park
ZooTampa at Lowry Park will commemorate the United States' 250th birthday with a month-long "Red, White and Zoo" celebration in July. The event will feature special themed animal enrichment activities, patriotic merchandise, festive food and beverages, giveaways and more.
On "America Mondays" and "Freedom Fridays” guests can enjoy the animals participating in patriotic-themed animal enrichment activities that promote their physical and mental well-being. From frozen treats to toys, the activities showcase the animal’s natural behaviors and stimulate their environment. Additionally, the first 250 guests on “America Mondays” will receive a complimentary “Red, White and Zoo” animal themed commemorative bookmark, featuring a different design each week.

The City of Tampa is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with one of the largest Fourth of July events in Tampa Bay — Liberty by the Bay at Julian B. Lane Park.This free, family-friendly waterfront celebration will feature a 250-drone light show honoring America’s 250th birthday, followed by a fireworks finale, along with an afternoon and evening full of activities, live entertainment, food, and fun for all ages.
