For only the second time this year, the Good Brothers are headed back to the future for a month of reviews that take place "50 years from now, whenever now is..." - starting with the Batman Beyond episode "Payback." Hear the hosts discuss a plot that mostly diverts from the WB Teen Drama that had been the theme for much of season 3 and instead covers the dynamics between Fathers and Sons and the consequences they carry. Hear the hosts discuss the foreshadowing of Terry realizing he will never meet Bruce's expectations for his role as Batman, three different fight scenes, a trip to the Gotham forest and a neat red herring trick that was used in a few of the best DCAU movies. Plus the show's two Batmen get to show off their voice acting chops for the first time in a bit and a soundtrack from a DCAU vet that really drives home the action sequences.
