Our guest: Corinne Croce @Corinne.Croce
Corinne’s devotion to healthcare (and physical therapy) is deeply rooted in her life story. Unparalleled family tragedy she endured as a young doctor of physical therapy—losing her brother and mother to cancer and her father suddenly— confirmed her un-relentless drive and intention on making an immediate impact on the healthcare industry. Her story is one where significant personal experiences ingrained characteristics that separate her from many and what she aims to carry into her practice daily. The importance of compassion, true support, strong guidance, whole-body healing and the depths of the mind-body connection is something she understands on an elevated level.
Early on in Corinne’s college years she was naturally attracted to science and initially she was in pursuit of a pre-med major with the intent of making a stamp on the healthcare industry, shortly into her exploration of the field she realized she wanted a more proactive approach to patient-work and through her love of medicine and fitness sought out a degree in physical therapy. She pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the highly acclaimed program at New York University and received elite manual therapy accolades as Full Body and Master practitioner from the ART institute. Through her early work, she came to understand that early detection of orthopedic issues was the key to injury mitigation and that her theory was only scratching the surface of a much bigger breakthrough that needed to occur in the industry. The existing physical therapy model needed to change for even a highly skilled therapist to start making an impact and that is why the idea behind BE | BodyEvolved came to life.
