"Excision" is a 2012 horror film written and directed by Richard Bates Jr. The movie tells the story of Pauline, a socially awkward and disturbed teenage girl with a fascination for surgery and a deep-seated desire to become a surgeon. Pauline's obsession with gruesome medical procedures, coupled with her strained relationship with her overbearing mother and younger sister, creates tension within her family.
