Jesse Appell’s an American comedian living in Beijing who did a Fulbright scholarship on comedy in China.

Jesse initially gained notoriety making the popular parody video Laowai Style and currently produces the web series The Great LOL of China. He’s a workhorse of comedy performing in English and Chinese, stand up and improv and he’s even an apprentice of the traditional Chinese comedy called Xiangsheng.
