L.A. Blackwell, Danny, and Flau open the show with their “Off the Cuff” segment by discussing Russell Westbrook’s historic season! Westbrook is the first NBA player in 55 years to average a triple-double for a season and he also recently broke the record for the most triple doubles in a NBA season with 42 (at the time of the recording)! They also take a closer look at the Golden State Warriors and their current injury woes and attempt to answer the question, “Do you think the Warriors will be ready to truly challenge for a championship or will injuries become their “Achilles’ heel?”
During the "Tip Off" segment the fellas discuss:
- Paul George's potential increase regarding his upcoming contract extension and the chances of it actually occurring.
- Potential trade rumors from the 76ers for the Pacers' Paul George!
- Which NBA player truly needs to win a championship this season and which player would benefit the most, by actually succeeding and winning the NBA title?
Moreover, in the "Hot Topic" segment, the guys make their individual NBA playoff picks and tell where they think each team will finish in the overall regular season standings. In addition, they make their “sleeper picks” as well!
Lastly, during the "Weekly Knicks Roundup" the fellas look for a “silver lining,” as this disappointing Knicks season mercifully comes to an end!
