Allison's Papa was 84 when he passed away in December of 2018. He was deaf since the age of 8 due to illness but other than that always strong and healthy until the last few years of his life. Many months before he was severely ill, Allison woke up and told her Mom he wasn't going to make it to Christmas that year. December 1st was the day she got a call from her Mom to come home and it was the start of his decline. Allison's Grandpa Wally was 89 when he passed in April of 2019. He suffered from colon cancer that thankfully was removed, a heart attack, and Parkinson's disease for as long as she can remember. Allison discusses the guilt she felt for not processing her Grandpa's grief as she was still processing the death of per Papa only months earlier. She explains her journey with multiple losses and realizing that it's ok to process grief in your own time.
