The Last Beer Show

Ep. 22 - Season of Stouts & $100 12oz Bottles

Listen Later

The weather change this time of year brings with it a shift from hops to roasted malt. Stouts like Founders CBS and Westbrook Mexican Cake start dropping to warm our insides. The depth of these beers requires a lot of ingredients. While many pan Prairie for $30 to $40 four packs, it is Toppling Goliath's $100 twelve ounce bottles that are catching shade this year.

We cover optimal serving temps, Jason's favorite characters of a stout, and what makes a pastry stout.

This one is deep, dark, and delicious. Enjoy.
