We watched Cartoon Network's 2011 series The Looney Tunes Show, which reinvents the classic characters for a sitcom format where Bugs and Daffy are mismatched roommates in a modern human city.
Bugs is trying to live a quiet life and date Lola, while Daffy is getting into schemes like running for city council, taking cosmetology courses under his girlfriend's name, and changing his name to Professor Duck and then teaching a college political science course.
We discuss the show's surprisingly tight plotting and sharp dialogue, Daffy just casually driving a parade float as his everyday car, Wile E. Coyote's middle name, and whether or not our society at large thinks Bugs is beautiful when disguised like a woman.
