Today, I’m talking about something that we’ve all experienced at one time or another…the feeling that you just want to give up.
You know the feeling I’m talking about. The one that makes you want to throw up your hands and say, “Fine. I give up. I’m done. I’ve had enough.” The one that makes you feel like you want to stop going for whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish.
Whether it's a project that seems to present a new obstacle every day or the total of all of the things you're trying to do with your life, sometimes everything seems to be moving in the wrong direction, and when that happens, most of us reach a point where we just want to give up.
But giving up isn't the answer. Instead of giving up, what we need to do is rest. In addition to physical rest, we also need mental and emotional rest. How do we get those things? I'll tell you a few things that work for me in this episode. Give the episode a listen, and see how you might use these techniques to get the rest you need too.
