On this episode of GET TO KNOW YOU, we discuss another thought-provoking topic; ‘How do you manage cultural differences in a relationship?’. This week, I’ll be sitting down with a couple, Sophia Adalis ( [email protected]) and Samuel Marichal ( IG @samuelfunflow). They are the founders of Funflow Dance ( IG @funflowdance).They have an open mindset that allows those from other walks of life to feel drawn to, and able to be themselves around them. They truly feel fulfilled when their students are able to go beyond their own expectations. They see the importance of dance in everyday life. “For us latin and African dance goes beyond steps and figures, it means strength, feeling, passion and illusion”. In their dance school, the students have a choice to lead or follow regardless of their gender. I have had the pleasure of knowing them over the past 12 months. Tune in as we discuss Moroccan and Spanish culture, what each culture considers 'normal', the struggles in cross culture relationships and how you could make it work. Stay tuned to the end of the episode to find out how you can join the conversation on the Get To Know You Cafe.
