Prior to his current work, Mike played baseball at Stanford and then professionally with the KC Royals. After his athletic career was cut short by injuries, he worked in the tech world, before starting his consulting business in 2001. Wow Factor: I think my parents splitting up when I was 3, my pro baseball career ending, losing both of my parents and my sister, being married to my amazing wife Michelle and father to our incredible daughters all have shaped the way I think about life, relate to others, and do my work.
