Trudi Bennett interviews, Scottish Youth Worker, Neil Young on how providing opportunities for teenagers to be involved in decision making leads to empowerment. St Paul’s Youth Forum, Board of Trustees, is 50%  youth who have the power to make real change, including giving feedback on staff appraisals, accepting grant applications and distributing funds. Neil explains the change that can happen in powerless communities when youth are valued.
