In this episode I discuss how each one of us are vital to the community. The people you know, and the people that you see in passing; we are all connected.
I focus on in-person community and its importance to our survival in our entirety. Seeing people, talking with others, sharing our struggles and our victories together is what we're called to do. We were never meant to walk this life out by only knowing people virtually and more importantly, we were never meant to be made to feel we had to go through life alone.
Rest in peace to my dear friend Greg whom my community lost last year. I stress the importance of how community is meant to be able to be relied upon, and how your life is valuable to those around you.
The time is now to show compassion, kindness, love and care for those around us. I encourage you to ask the hard questions, invite family and friends into the struggle, and see the beauty of community the way that God had intended for us.
I aim for this episode to open your eyes, your mind and your heart to see the people around you and to pull you out of this self-centric world we're living in. We cannot do this life without you, and we cannot do this life alone.
If you or someone you know is having a hard time in life right now, just know that my prayers are being laid out in front of God for you as you're reading this. I love you. God loves you and will sustain you. Cast all your cares upon the Lord and he shall sustain you. Psalm 55:22.
