We explore an article from The Globe and Mail that argues Canada is falling short when it comes to transparency. Discussions on government coverups, inaccessibility and reliance on canned messaging come up. Further, we advance the case that without transparency a democratic society only sees a mirage and is robbed of their fundamental means of accountability.
