Growing up as a Hispanic male who was viewed as a nerd in high school, Liudeli Torres suffered from poor social skills. As a young adult, he would go out of his way to avoid interactions with people. He tells us how he made a dramatic turnaround by being disciplined and focusing on self-improvement strategies he learned from books. He slowly but intentionally put those strategies to work and has seen his social skills improve considerably. At the young age of 25, he now owns and operates his own website development company "Don't Be Basic" where he encourages small businesses to think outside the box.
