Hey friends, happy New Year! I know it's been a minute but let's be honest going into a new year, we have to mindful of what we need to leave behind before entering the new, right? I want to share with you this revelation I received because if it blessed me, I know it can bless you too! I know that the Lord needs me to share this because I can't be the only who was feeling like I was in a parked car when midnight struck to a New Year. Usually we're all about "New Year, New Me" creating vision boards, having a word of the year and just ready to "get it right" this time because we have a fresh new year ahead of us. But what about when you are walking in Christ, you have to believe that he is giving you a fresh start every single day! Through HIM we have eternal life but we must make sure that we are giving him the authority to guide us daily. Why is it that we sometimes get stuck in our head and can't move forward? Is it FEAR? God does not want us to be afraid, we should cast our worries on to him. If we first seek the Kingdom, all things will be added right? He will protect us and guide us, so just pay attention to whatever season you're in. You may just need to rest in him a little longer, he will reveal what the new is for you too, enjoy the process of your Journey because HE IS WITH YOU!
While resting in the Lord, taking time away from things and recently having to close doors to things, I was reminded of this saying I heard while fasting in July which said "Get In the Active" and it sounded like my own voice really loud waking me up. I recently kept hearing it again, so I started to get "Active" like moving my body, eating better and waking up early. Recently I sat down while reading scriptures and everything was just coming to me as if I was hearing everything for the first time or like my eyes were wide awake! I thank Jesus for his patience with me, as some things were a reminder and other things a fresh new perspective. So enjoy this podcast and may it bless you for the New Year!
