Oftentimes, we can feel forsaken by God and angry that our prayers were not answered in the way that we desired. Then, thoughts creep in..."Why pray? Is He even listening?" And these overwhelming thoughts coupled with our hurt cause our prayers to become mute and sometimes even non-existent. Despite the loss, we must learn to continue to communicate with God. Whether reciting a Bible verse or calling upon the Holy Spirit, we must be persistent in prayer.
