“This work builds on the leadership of community leaders that are already doing amazing work in Detroit. The city obviously has a role in setting out goals, but there's been work happening for decades already in the environmental advocacy space, creating and implementing projects, everything from stormwater to solar installations. That level of leadership already exists in Detroit, and we're just really lucky to have champions that we can partner with and keep moving those goals forward."
