Amber interviews her first non-parent, Janessa Mast, who has a very compelling story about her overcoming a difficult upbringing.  When she was 13, her father was convicted of money laundering and fraud and passed away right before serving his prison term.  Janessa fell into some bad coping mechanisms and tells us the story of how she turned it around.  She is young but SO WISE.  Janessa also coaches teenage girls and gives us tremendous insight on how we can show up for our kids and be better parents.
