I was having a conversation with one of my clients a few months back when we were talking about exercises and stretches you can do every single day because it is similar to brushing your teeth or taking a shower or using the bathroom. A new term came up that I like to use regularly now and that is the term physical hygiene.
This means the exercises and stretches that are necessary for you to do on a daily basis to fight off pain, stiffness or disease. Instead of waiting until 3pm or doing a "1 hour workout" just do lifestyle spurts throughout your life. These add up just like other forms of hygiene. This is great for people who are tight on time, don't know what to do for a longer routine, or just don't like the idea of having to workout all the time.
I get asked regularly what I think is the most optimal or best form of exercise. What should I be doing that is the best bang for my buck? I do feel like I have a pretty confident answer but I wanted to create a new episode and share my thoughts on some interesting things I found before recording this new episode.
When coming up with this new episode I came up with 12 + reasons as to why I thought what I did about what is the most optimal for of physical Hygiene.
