Diesel is a non-binary DJ and the antithesis to the current House & Techno scenes in Auckland. They coined the term "Fetish House" as a means to decolonise their music and distinguish themselves from existing normative structures. However, Diesel's world building goes beyond just the music. At events like Nympho, Diesel unapologetically weaves high-energy club sets with performance and visual art to create liberating moments for the local queer community. We share an auditory glimpse into their world, before their performance at Beacon Festival 2021 on Saturday. This journey to the depths is entitled "Piece Of Underworld".
