Claudine Hemingway feels a strong pull to the city of light - Paris, France. Being a descendant of writer Ernest Hemingway, whose name is connected to Paris due to the time he spent there and the stories he told, maybe it’s a family connection that drew Claudine to this creativity-filled city. Her own grandparents visited often and sparked a fascination that has only grown throughout her life.

She has spent lots of time there, exploring family connections and tracking down the spots they frequented in the past.

In doing that, she’s also found connections of her own - particularly in the area of arts and culture. She’s developed a wealth of knowledge about the creative people who have lived, worked and visited Paris, and France in general. Show her a painting, a sculpture, or a building and there’s a good chance she can tell you who made it, why it’s significant, and the part it plays in the arts and cultural history of the country.

Claudine shines a light on creative people throughout history and in doing so, helps many people see how they can explore their own creative gifts.
