We dedicate today's episode to Milo Winslow, trans activist in NE. He spoke at his city council to support fairness ordinance protecting the LGBTQ+ community and others from discrimination. It passed unanimously, but thousands of people petitioned and now it's on the ballet for November, which will not pass. Milo will be fiercely missed within the community; however, countless members of the LGBTQ+ community's still need help.   Please consider donating to the GoFundMe, but as allies, we must do more. In its first decade of life, the community was a home for those going through faith transitions and those who didn’t feel comfortable in traditional church settings. In 2015, GracePointe underwent a highly publicized process wherein it stated, publicly and absolutely, that LGBTQ+ people were welcomed, celebrated, and included at all levels of GracePointe's community. National media picked up on this, and GracePointe experienced a seismic movement in its own community as it stepped away from a core belief of mainstream Evangelical Protestantism.
