In episode 25, we explore the last section of Luke chapter 16, where Jesus tells a parable about the fate of a  certain 'rich man' and Lazarus, a 'poor man'. At first glance, this might come across as a simplistic story with an obvious message, but we dig deeper into the nuances of the parable, in order to really understand the point that Jesus wanted to make. So what clues can we get about the lifestyle of the rich man vs Lazarus? Why is it that Lazarus was better off in the after life than the rich man? And how can we interpret the rich man's final plea for his family? We'll be discussing these ideas and much more.
