The Star Spawn is a race in DnD birthed from dark and evil rituals that pull Eldritch beings from a realm of evil into ours. Usually, the rituals fail only leaving fragments of power in their wake, but even a fragment of an Eldritch entity's power is enough to drive mortals insane.
