Today I am joined by Alan Placer, and although his story relates to how he supported his son with high functioning autism as he made his way through  the school system and onto a successful life, we can all relate and learn from what he has to say. I have been a school teacher for 15 years and this makes for an interesting conversation where we look at the different perspectives of parents, children and teachers.
