It's girls night in...side our separate houses!
For the past 14 months, we have seen each other at least once a week. Creating and connecting in person has been a constant that we have taken for granted. Now that we are in this time of transition and separation, we realized a check-in was desperately needed! So we poured ourselves some wine, jumped on Zoom and recorded our very first, fully virtual podcast. In this episode, we touch base on adjusting to our "new normal." We discuss how it's going re-structuring our days, wrapping our heads around what is going on in our world, and how Tiger King is blowing our minds. We share the ups and downs of working from home with our significant others; or in Tash's case, trying to stay out of the way while Nick is on video meetings (spoiler alert: she has already failed and embarrassed herself greatly.) We also share tips that have felt helpful combating anxiety and discuss the importance of getting over the "productivity guilt" and allowing ourselves to use this isolation in a way that feels good for our souls. This is a scary time full of uncertainty, but we do know there is light in the future. Hearing others share their feelings have helped us greatly in feeling less alone, and we hope this episode will do the same!
Stay healthy, stay safe, stay the f*** inside.
xx Dev, Tash & Jess
