(January 20, 2021) Not finding any spark when trying out basketball and badminton, Nikko Huelgas found home with swimming and, eventually, included running and biking into the mix. Nikko might not be the most talented and the most gifted athlete, but leveraging on his confidence, boldness and openness to learn and adapt, when he was still a young aspiring athlete, he managed to find his way to the top having won multiple national triathlon titles, back-to-back SEA games gold, and topping the Ironman 70.3 Asian Elite.

Nikko is a brand ambassador for various household brand names and is, currently, the Chair for the POC Athletes' Commission.
