Kathy and Shayna are joined by Joey Pagano, author, therapist, professor, licensed social worker and recovering addict. Joey talks about his own history of addiction, his recovery and his commitment to helping other people struggling with substance abuse issues.

Of note, we struggled with identifying realistic, empathetic representations of substance abuse in pop culture.
