Crusoe Dawn, along with his crew The Phantom Cloaks, is on a rescue mission. There is an island at the end of Dead Mans Straight, that the locals call Basilisk isle. With a weird temple to some snake god, this is the story how a party almost got TPK'd because of one monster.
