Our guest today, Dr. Jamelia Abrams, is a Wife, mother of 2, board certified foot and ankle surgeon (Podiatrist) turned Health Science Educator with a passion to empower others. Dr. Abrams wanted a platform that would allow Black consumers to share their individual experiences to empower Black people to patronize businesses that value us. Based on the Yelp model she created BEAPP the BlackExperienceApp, which currently has 25 major cities and 25, 000 restaurants.
