Today's episode goes back to one of the greatest plays in college football history. The Doug Flutie Hail Mary against to propel Boston College over Miami is one of those iconic moments that gets shown all the time.
Neither of us had ever seen the game so we put it on the list to revisit and we're glad we did. Not only was this finish incredible, but this entire game was as good as you'll find for a regular season matchup without a whole lot on the line.
The eventual Heisman winner went against redshirt sophomore Bernie Kosar in one of the best passing duels of that era.
So join us as we go back through this 1984 showdown, which aired the day after Thanksgiving on CBS with Brent Musburger on the call.
There's so much outdated content during this time that's amazing as well, and we'll discuss that along the way.
