Ep. #27 ~ Open House's Of Worship: St. Steven Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church
I once said, "The prophetic mind sees what the world calls an uncrossable
barrier as a relational meeting place for the inception of wonder & awe."
It was after reflecting upon a picture that showed a lake that had divided
two community’s had frozen over & as a result, created a mystical place of
joy & wonder where neighbours could skate together, play hockey, & allow
couples to dance upon the frozen surfaces that once seemed impossible to
access.
Similarly, the I-CARE Taskforce in hosting the Open House’s of Worship over
the next five months & hope to share a vision of building bridges for
understanding sacred spaces & discovering neighbourly relationships. It is
a vision that reveals the incredible ways we can find connections with
those we often consider different than ourselves.
