In this episode we discuss how self sabotage is our ego protecting us from a situation where we have been hurt in the past, and how we can look at those behaviours through a different lens, to gain clarity. We touched on: 1) How our brain doesn’t know the difference between emotional and physical pain, and it tries to protect us from both.
2) Looking at our self sabotaging behaviours not through a lens of guilt and shame and “what’s wrong with you - why can’t you just get this done?” But instead through a lens of curiosity and compassion and understanding what your brain is trying to protect you from.
