 Here is an excerpt from the Famous Deva of Curse of Strahd! The Abbot as they all call him has fallen when players first find him, but here is a story cataloging his descent into madness.  There is little backstory to the Deva and how he came about in CoS; what originally started as a small hand out for my campaign turned into this- Hope you enjoy.
