In the annals of serial killers, few figures stand as chilling and enigmatic as Vera Renczi, a Hungarian 
nurse who preyed on the elderly and infirm in her care between 1977 and 1997. Known as the "Angel 
of Death" and the "Budapest Poisoner," Renczi's reign of terror involved the murder of at least 35 
patients, though she confessed to over 60. Her crimes, motivated by a twisted desire for power and 
control, left a trail of devastation and shattered lives in their wake.
