Ep. 27 - What it's like to run a 100K Ultramarathon
This episode is a little bit different, and a little bit scattered as so much happened during that race it was really hard to distill it down into something quick.
Incase you were wondering, I am a totally average runner. I've only been running seriously for 2 years now. This episode is a recap of my last race of the season a 100K ultramarathon. Which to most people sounds like a long distance to run, but it quickly becomes the norm when getting into ultra running.
I am sharing this because I am not a stud runner, I am a dad with 2 kids, a busy work schedule and a little too much David Goggins in my head. The goal here is to share some insight on what my experience was on this last race.
And because...
I LOVE sports, athletics, pushing boundaries and getting after it. Whether it is me personally or someone else I love to hear stories, watch videos, and get inspired by others pushing their limits and achieving more than they thought possible.
So here is a little taste of something I didn't think I would ever do even 3 years ago. I hope you enjoy it.
