Having worked as a nurse for over five years in the Philippines and six years in Ireland, I have seen how environment, resources, and healthcare systems influence the way care is delivered. Both countries have shaped my journey in unique ways, one grounded in resilience and compassion despite limited resources, the other defined by structure, support, and professional development. This comparison aims to explore the differences, similarities, and overall impact of nursing in the Philippines versus Ireland.
