Katie is the  Senior Communications Specialist at Women Against Abuse. Amanda is the Birthparent Post-Placement Support Manager and Adoption Counselor at Adoptions From The Heart. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we wanted to take this episode to bring awareness about domestic violence. We talked about what is domestic violence, some of the signs, what can we do to help someone experience this and resources for people in a domestic abuse situation.
