This week we get to meet two real-life circus performers who have come to settle in Idaho Falls after years of performing across the country. Josh and Jackie submitted a story that was featured on the bonus mini-episode. They talked about literally running away with the circus and how their collection pays homage to that life. While reading the letter, you could hear the incredulity in the Mavens' voices. So, of course, Sam asked them to come on the show. There was no way she could live with herself otherwise. Their collection centers mainly on sideshow and circus memorabilia, but also delves into the macabre. Not many people have a freeze-dried baby in their closet. Sam briefly turns into a caveman early on in the interview and Jill maintains her post as the on-site medical professional. Her nurse brain kicked into overdrive once Josh started talking about his fire-eating act. Apparently, flames are good for dental hygiene. Also, don't eat fire without supervision from a professional. Seriously. Please. Don't. Jill said not to.
