In this episode, Megan talks about the death of five-year-old Garnett Spears whose mother, Lacey Spears, incrementally poisoned him with table salt. We warn that this episode is mildly graphic and extremely uncomfortable as it details the ongoing torture of a young child, typical of similar cases that involve Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another (formerly known as Munchausen syndrome by proxy).
