Happy Valentine's Day! On this love-filled episode, Kevin and Steve discuss romance in tabletop roleplaying. We start off with the questions of if romance is needed at all. We follow that up with the idea of checking for player comfort levels and some suggestions as to how to talk about the level of intimacy that is roleplayed. I suggest that it might be a good idea to try flirting with your friends, if they're cool with it. We also discuss watching out for real feelings, and thinking about what commitment level is right for your character. We conclude by talking about our favorite romances from other media.
