ACORN is fighting for the rights of low- and moderate-income people. They are a community-union, made up of members who feel the impacts of the issues they fight for. They have been vocally opposed New Brunswick ending the rent cap, which was a policy put into place by the province when tenants started to see their rents skyrocket overnight during the pandemic. 

Peter Jongeneelen speaks on behalf of ACORN. He also shares with us his personal experience of dealing with landlords who are held accountable by no-one.
