This week I am joined by Erin as we talk about Advance Health Directives (AHD). The creation of an AHD, when you have the capacity to make it (so, NOW!), is the best way to make your preferences known about the type of treatment you would prefer if you are unable to communicate or make decisions for yourself. It's a way to respect your values, beliefs or preferences and should be a conversation had by all.
